A couple of mornings ago we had our first frost. What a beautiful sight. Every blade of grass was trimmed in silver and fading blossoms hung their heads with the weight of their icy veils. Hello there! Hope your week is off to a great start! Just sold that gorgeous French cake stand in the shop so I'm thrilled, although I am a little sad to see it go. It is so darn pretty!

Anyway, I promised some Monday art so here is my curated selection for the day. Gorgeous work by Argentinian artist, Paola Zakimi. I love the soft sweetness of her work and the way she perfectly balances innocence with a moody, poetic and layered touch.

Hello friends! I come to you today with a gorgeous spread of vintage tea cups! Tea cups are no longer just for grandma's house....no, no...they are being newly adored, honored and cherished by so many people, including myself.

Growing up in Australia, with a Scottish best friend, tea was a part of my everyday. Morning tea, midday tea, afternoon tea and even a warm cuppa before bed. I used to love the ritual of it. The soothing warmth and specialness of it. I still drink tea, not quite as often, but I still enjoy it and now I am building my own collection of vintage tea cups to sip from. Of course, I can't keep them all...some most go into the shop! Here are some of my latest finds...available now. Click the images to go shopping.

Sure...we know tea cups are gorgeous...but they are useful too...

Pop them into a drawer to organize your tangle of jewels. You can often find tea cups missing their saucers at thrift stores!

How sweet are these as little floral place holders for a party?

Use them in a medicine cabinet or on a shelf to corral your little beauty items.

And of course they make beautiful candles...here's the DIY instructions from good ole' Martha.

So you see, even if you aren't a tea drinker...there is still room in your life for a sweet little tea cup.

OMG! I'm so excited to share this artist with you! Meet Janet Hill. I stumbled upon her via one of my afternoons spent in Etsy land...and I'm so pleased I did!

Glamorous, feminine, fabulously vintage and vibrant, her work resonated with me immediately. I looked thru each and every one of her available prints (141 in total) and I found myself smiling at each new image. Her interiors draw you in...her portraits are mesmerizing and her still life work is absolutely enchanting. I was completely transported to a time of romance and splendor...I know you will be too...

I know I usually only show six selections...but I can't stop...just two more...

Hello friends! I have to share with you my newest fav vintage find - a gorgeous 1930's Art Deco Seltzer Bottle! Available in my shop now.

Isn't she pretty? Oozing with glamour and style, I couldn't pass up this beauty. Found her digging at an antique fair and I'm so happy I did!

Did you know that Seltzer bottles are very "in" right now? Yup and I can see why.

Highly collectible and full of history, these bottles represent a different time and place. Each one comes with its own story - an acid etched label depicting a region or city, an old bar, a rustic saloon, a swanky speakeasy...who knows what these bottles have seen. That's what I love about old things.

So, in honor of this beautiful vintage object, I have curated some more lovely images of Seltzer bottles.
